Online Notepad (Auto-Save to Browser)

How many times have you quickly typed something important — a phone number, a meeting note, a sudden idea — into a random tab, only to accidentally close it and lose everything?

It happens to all of us. And it’s incredibly frustrating.

Just open it, start typing, and walk away. When you come back — even hours or days later — your notes are exactly where you left them. It’s the simplest, most private notepad on the internet. And it’s completely free.

How does the auto-save work?

Fixply’s Online Notepad uses your browser’s built-in Local Storage to save your notes automatically. Every single keystroke is saved in real time — so even if you accidentally close the tab, refresh the page, or restart your browser, your notes will still be there when you come back.

There is no save button to press. No account to log into. No cloud service involved. Everything is stored silently and instantly — right inside your own browser, on your own device.

Completely. Your notes never leave your device. Fixply does not send, upload, store, or access anything you type in the notepad. It all stays inside your browser’s local storage — which only you can access on your device.

Think of it like a private notebook that lives entirely on your computer or phone — invisible to everyone else, including us.

Yes — this is important to know. Since notes are saved in your browser’s local storage, they will be deleted if you:

  • 🗑️ Clear your browser history or site data
  • 🔒 Use Private / Incognito mode
  • 🔄 Switch to a different browser or device

For permanent or cross-device notes, we recommend copying your important text and saving it in a document or email. Fixply’s notepad is designed for quick, temporary, and session-based note taking — not long-term document storage.

There is no set limit imposed by Fixply. You can type as much as you need — short quick notes or long detailed drafts. The only technical limit is your browser’s local storage capacity, which is typically 5MB per site — more than enough for thousands of words of plain text notes.
